The Next McCain Surrogate

ABC News is reporting that Bin Laden could release a new tape any day now.

Four years ago, when Bin Laden released a message just before the election, it definitely helped President Bush’s chances. But I always thought that Americans should’ve been seriously pissed off by that message. Bin Laden was still alive! Why didn’t everyone say, Dammit! Why is this guy still at large and why hasn’t our president captured him dead or alive like he promised?!

Of course I underestimated how irrationally fearful certain Americans were. Here’s to hoping that they’ve come to their senses a bit in the interim.

    So what if Bin Laden releases a tape? Why to the media feel the need to give voice to this guy? Marginalize him. Dont spread his venom and dont let him have any influence on this election or anything else. If Bin Laden speaks, and no one hears him..doest it matter?!?

    In a perfect world cminri. They will all feel the need to do it because none of them will want to let the other one break the story first. Secondly, they will all be wanting to take advantage of the ratings. They all feed on it. All of them.

    I am hoping Americans won’t fall for that kind of bullshit this time. Besides, Obama would be a lot better than McCain in any kind of crisis.

    I think their fear of lack of money or homes will bring some to their senses over their fear of the boogeyman making a tape. Others are just hopelessly prone to falling for this shit. We just have to hope the former outnumbers the latter THIS time.

    Very interesting that ABC initially refused to accept the Obama infomercial and by the time they realized it was a mistake it was too late to undo it, and now they’re reporting of a possible Bin Laden tape.

    I’m not normally a conspiracy theorist, but just sayin’…
