Nobody Likes Sarah

Nobody! Republicans, too. Newsweek poll:

If John McCain is not elected president, which one of the following three possible candidates would you be most likely to support for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012?

Mitt Romney 35%
Mike Huckabee 26%
Sarah Palin 20%

Even Huckabee is running stronger than Palin. Look, I wouldn’t be shocked if McCain dropped Palin this week and replaced her with the Romney Unit. Also, earlier tonight, I overheard someone on cable mentioning that Palin was getting all kinds of TV offers based on her “popularity.”

Let me save you some cash, TV executives… Sarah Palin is not popular. Her favorables are 34 percent. That’s George W. Bush’s number from earlier this year. That’s not a good thing. So spare us the reality show or the cable news talk show. Her voice sounds like two pieces of styrofoam being rubbed together. She’s a shrieking eel. No-one likes her.

I don’t think your right. I think people like her well enough – they just don’t want her in office. I think lots of guys think she’s hot, and whoever keeps Fox News on the air will probably keep Sarah on as well.(OTOH, I like Huck, but I tuned in to his show and promptly tuned back out. It was boring, pointless, and overly ideological to the point of silliness. If that show makes it, I’ll owe you a beer or something.)QT

I predict Sarah Palin will have a bright future in TV – on TBN. Say “Hello” to Kirk Cameron for me!

.They may like her _now_…but wait until after _all_ the dirt comes out about Troopergate and her other ethics issues. She may not even get to finish her term as governor. That would certainly put the ky-bosh on her TV career. However, I predict she’ll get a deal as a radio host, spewing her hate and idiocy just like Rush and Hannity do. You heard it here first! And I leave you with some multimedia:Big Nose McCain with Jiminy Palinhttp://i35.tinypic.com/x5nxpz.jpgDino Palinhttp://i33.tinypic.com/2mgta42.jpgMissing:http://i38.tinypic.com/5ezxgp.jpgDon’t Get Fooled Again:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD1UjWlxsNI.

    >>I don’t think your rightThe 34 percent is in the “favorable/unfavorable” category, not the “who are you voting for” category. Elsewhere, polls are showing that she’s a bigger drag on McCain than Bush.

I think that a lot of people watch her to hear her inability to create coherent sentences, I know I do.

How long will the BBQ media continue to carry water for this candidate?–she is a disaster–and if McCain is not able to steal this election, is one of the major reasons he will lose–she is an intriguing tabloid personality…period.

    Two words. Fox Sports.

Well, I was just about to say that she would not be successful on TV for all the reasons that Bob just mentioned. And then I thought about Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Fox and Friends, Glenn Beck… she’ll fit right in. The 30%’ers will eat. It. Up.

I think any channel that would proudly boast that unlikable windbag Bill O’Reilly would snap up Palin in a heartbeat. Most sane, reasonable people including true conservatives may not like her but the Rush Idiots will cancel bowling night to see her show. (No offense to any bowlers–you know what I mean). Many may not like her as VP but will slobber over her on Fox ‘N Fiends–if she dies her hair blonde.

  • dontpanic23

    (make that “dyes” her hair–doh)

I think watching Sarah Palin is like driving by a car wreck…you dont want to look, but you cant help it. You just cant beleive something that awful can be happening. I think this will translate easily into a reality show. I can just see her and maybe Flava Flav….

I am so sick of the Palin/Rock Star flavored BBQ sauce–again, more artificially applied fake balance from the MSM–You see, Obama has huge appeal, and they are trying put her on the same level–not. He has been on the stage for two years–The American people love him because of his policies and the way he has conducted himself in the most vicious campaign in the modern era. That is why he is a Rock Star. Always remember, Bush or Cheney could go to the same places she is going, and still have that wing nut, frenzied appeal–
