I can barely contain my fury. Joe Biden had a birthday and Barack Obama gave him – ready for this? – cupcakes! And a day early, too. I know, that is NOT the change I voted for either!!
It gets worse. Much worse.
Obama led the rest of the staff in song, then handed over some Chicago-themed gifts: a White Sox cap, a Bears cap and a bucket of Garrett’s popcorn, a hometown favorite.
I just threw up in my mouth. A lot. So much that I threw up in someone else’s mouth, too. We might as well have elected McCain and Palin if we wanted the same tired old gifts. Popcorn cronyism but meanwhile not a single pledge to personally perp walk Bush and Cheney on January 20th or to smack Lieberman in the nuts.
