I’ve not followed the Brennan thing closely, but I notice that the MSM is just going nuts over Obama’s tight vetting process! WTF?That’s the way it should be!No knee jerk responses! No crony-ism! Only qualified people that WILL be confirmed!Remember, they all work for “we the people”!

Was there really any doubt that his name would be dropped? It’s odd – usually the nominations are all made at about time, in January, and it’s hard to focus on this or that person. This time there’s so much more time to look at each of the potential nominees, express disagreement or agreement, etc. Remember Zoe Baird & Kimba Wood? Not good…How about Richard Clarke?

Who knows if Brennan is as bad as the perception of Brennan, but it looks like a very good thing he’s out of the picture as he’s lugging big, bad baggage, perceptually or actually.

My pick: Chuck Hagel. Why? He turned sour on the war early, opposed torture, and has advocated intelligence reform for a long time.

>>Who does that open the door for? Who would be ideal?I agree with Cenk: Richard Clarke.

They ran it up the flagpole to see who would salute, and no one saluted. Just gave the finger.
