Chinese Democracy

Chez alerts us that we can listen to Chinese Democracy at MySpace. Go!

From what I’ve heard so far, ‘Shackler’s Revenge’ is pretty great.

Oh, Bob, you old headbanger, you. Here’s some shameless self-promotion as an alternative: My (somewhat drafty) music that has very little to do with GNR (although it’s no less overwrought, perhaps):. . . while we’re here . . .Cheers!

i only listened to a few tracks, but catcher in the rye is pretty good. It reminds me of some of their old slower songs. Plus i’m partial because i like the book. Thanks for the link Bob.

I attended a Best Buy-hosted “listening party” on Sunset Boulevard (the area where the band was formed) a few days ago. In addition to listening to the album in its entirety, I got a free (limited?) Chinese Democracy tee-shirt.Also, a gay guy hit on me. So Sunset Boulevard.”Better” is beautiful.

I forgot to add that Axl has recorded “a sequel to ‘Estranged.’” Fuckin’ A.Estranged is my favorite song…of all time.

Street Of Dreams and IRS both jumped out at me. Not enough where I’ll probably stop listening to The Root’s Homegrown but much better than I expected, really.

Nothing is worth 15 years, but…its a damn good album, the first word comes to mind is EPIC. The sound and songs are BIG. Everything but the kitchen sink is in the production. And any album that has guitar players named Buckethead and Bumblefoot has to be good!
