I vote for the throwback “panel of journalists” option. Why? Three or four times more ridiculous!

Expect the list of random Halperin suggestions any second now:

1. Noonan (disarming and incendiary)
2. Meacham (he’s a center-right nation)
3. Gregory (angular)
4. Drudge (Cronkite-ish!)
5. Halperin (pick me!)

    You’re giving NBC a lot of credit that I’m not sure they’re due. Hopefully you’re right though, as she is just awful. I think Ifill is the best choice, so of course it’ll be someone else.
