Now is this the real or the fake part of Nebraska?

No huge surprise! I’ve hardly had time to look at every state, but what little bit that I have looked at, the more densely populated areas (even in the reddest of red states) tend to lean more heavily Democratic.Again no real surprise when I consider that the small town folk are always complaining about not being able to keep the younger generations around their home-towns!Seems like I remember someone saying something about a lot of rural Americans clinging to their guns and religion. Could it be that pursuing a true education and being exposed to a more diverse community turns a person blue?

Also interesting (to me anyway) is the large military presence in Omaha. While many military members vote absentee in their home states, a large military presence in a community tends to mean more votes for republicans as they’ve done an incredible job of convincing people they are pro-military when they’re really just pro-defense industry.
Obama didn’t quite pull off Virginia Beach, but he did get pretty much the entire surrounding area. And as a bonus, we threw out a bush automaton congresswoman.
