Tonight! I have no idea because I can’t stop staring at the Oval Office photograph below.

Tonight: Fuck you! (not you, Bob). Those are some killer shots of the man in his new place of honor and the chimp with his feet wanting to be on the table while making idiotic remarks.

  • http://obamaproject.windonwater.net QueenTiye

Darn. I thought I was going to be first in the thread! :) Well, this is it for me. I have a long trek home, and then I still owe Lee a post on my own blog, which probably won’t happen till around midnight. And homework! I have homework! And such as.(How’d I do with the Palin-speak?)QT

  • KatinWilm

That Oval Office photograph is going to look so much more amazing without the village idiot sitting in it. In all the pictures I’ve seen from today’s visit to the White House, the contrast between the young, vibrant Obamas and the older, stiff Bushes really stands out to me. January 20th can’t come soon enough. And we really need to stop referring to “the position flexible” because my gifted self thinks of things other than Palin’s interview, ok?

  • incredulous72

Village idiot …fantastic!I have to say, I love the way Chris went after that damn repug strategist Todd (i think that’s his name) on his show tonight. 8,000,000 million over in the popular vote, 364 electoral votes and the damn fucks in the republican party still want to call this a ‘center-right’ country and hold faithfully to the lie that this election was a not a mandate for Obama. But what else should I expect when these numbskulls want to push Sarah ‘dumb fuck’ Palin into the Oval office in 4 years.

  • incredulous72

    Heh-heh; I said ’8,000,000 million’.

  • Bob_Cesca

    Is this thing on?

  • dontpanic23

Which thing? I fell asleep in my chair.

  • KatinWilm

Sorry Bob, I can’t expound upon anything cabley for the moment since my kid had a fuckin’ fantastic report card today and therefore gets to play the Wii on a weeknight. I could expound for hours upon “the position flexible” if you would like however…

  • dontpanic23

Kat, our resident make-it-about-sex expert, has to think another Wii. (Congrats to the kid on the grades).I;m trying to stay awake for KO. Wore myself out having to go 4 places in town today, one fo them Walmart dammit. (Three-in-one HP printer: $45)

  • dontpanic23

Hate to be gauche, but Michelle’s bright orange dress next to Laura’s faded orange dress made some kind of statement.

  • solrac2002

Yeah i saw that dude Todd too on Hardball..Just like Joe S. the Rethugs just can’t let it it go that their people are not holding the keys to the White House. Why is that every step the O man takes the right wing idiots do not say anything remotely..bi-partisan.

  • dontpanic23

Bitter? Know their candidates were bad choices? Stupid? All of the above?

  • KatinWilm

I am so proud of Howard Fineman for letting his hair grow out. Good on him.

  • dontpanic23

Fineman’s hair now isn’t jet black on top, gray on sides. Looks like he’s experimenting again.Good for Obama. Much as we despise Leiberman, we need that domestic yea vote with the dems. Almost desperately.

  • dontpanic23

Kat, we collided. And left no black hole (not even in Howard’s hair).

  • dontpanic23

Lindsay Graham as Larry Storch. Perfect.

  • KatinWilm

Howard is referring to Lindsay Graham as a “scout.” I was gonna say snake, but hey…they both start with S.

  • KatinWilm

Hmm….KO’s Comment is going to be about Prop 8. That should be interesting.

  • dontpanic23

Special Comment! And yes, Prop 8. Excellent. Give ‘em hell, Keith. Spin that chair 360 and roll.

  • dontpanic23

LOL Kat, maybe we should be on the phone deciding who takes next turn on this or that remark. We’re almost doing a Bobbsey twins act.

  • KatinWilm

DP…I think you should just speak for both of us from now on – since we seem to share the same brain.Let me handle the suggestive sex comments, though, okay?

  • KatinWilm

    That’s just fuckin’ funny….

  • dontpanic23

You OWN the suggestive sex stuff. I’ve lost my edge on that. Too many meds.Gitmo: Yes, no and no comment?Nope, until more make comments it must be Wii–both of us, that is.

  • dontpanic23

Kat your turn, I gotta pee.

  • dontpanic23

Helllooooo helloooo helllooooooooo? Where is everybody? If anybody’s interested, my pee went just fine, thanks.Jane? No snark?

  • dontpanic23

I want Obama shirts for my dogs! Maybe the 2 more I just got for a song on Ebay ($3 ea w/shipping) can be converted. Found a UMWA Obama hat today in the Sally Store.

  • dontpanic23

I’m gonna go sit Over There and watch. I’m making a fool of myself. Bob? I think it’s broken.

  • KatinWilm

Sorry…all new ‘Chuck’ tonight – I totally forgot…so I’ve got to do the flipping thing. I’ll be back with KO for the Special Comment for sure, though. And I think Jane ran off with Elvis. They are probably sipping scotch in the Highlands as we speak.

  • KatinWilm

Jeez…on ‘The View’ KO looks like Gulliver visiting Lillput.

  • KatinWilm

    And I totally meant “Lilliput.”

  • dontpanic23

Scotch…HighlandsThere was a Gulliver look.Sorry, Kat, kid number 2 wants computer. He was a good boy today and stirred and spiced my chili all afternoon while I was gone (getting every half hour instructions on what spice to put in next–I like it so hot you don’t taste anything else for a week. After I use that much meat in one meal (and 20 leftovers) I need to be able to eat cardboard anyway because it’s so cheap.Ahl be bakk.

  • KatinWilm

I totally understand, DP. Enjoy the chili, you spicy gal, you. ;)

  • Tanya42

Position flexible…snort. I’ll never be able to let it go, now!

  • ceu

Excellent special comment by Keith tonight.Watch it!Aloha.

  • KatinWilm

Wow…KO’s Special Comment brought me to tears…Keith too I think. What an amazing plea for understanding and love for each other. He did an amazing job. He expressed many of my emotions – whether or not your religion wants you to believe in homosexuality, can we not recognize that love is sacred in this world? And so very rare? And would it not be wonderful to celebrate it no matter where we find it. Hatred is so easily accessed – but love is still rare and treasured. It should not matter where it lies. Very nice job, Keith. Good on you.

  • Poleezz

Evening folks. Hey I thought Obama’s position on letting Lieberman cruise was almost biblical. I swear it seemed like something King Solomn might have done. I was so bitter about it, all I could think of was kick his ass out. Fuck I love the way Obama thinks.

  • dontpanic23

Rachel loves Steve Earle! I love Steve Earle! I love Rachel!Special comment by KO was indeed killer, Kat. I didn’t think he was going to stop and I didn’t want him to. That should be required watching for everybody in the country.G’night guys. Will fall asleep in chair again and fall on keyboard and type something like djfjlekfjlfkgldnfajdnfdflg[pfuck, much like Jane’s cats.

  • PackyJ

Ok. I’ve always liked Keith Olbermann.I thought Olbermann’s special comment tonight was excellent. Then I read HuffPost and found out that on The View he said HE DOESN’T VOTE.Some crap about “journalistic objectivity.”What a truckload of bullshit. Now I’m pissed. Fuck him.

  • kansasdem

Life is beautiful!Jon Stewart just announced that Kansas seceded from the union …………. and Palin will not STFU!I’m happy!

  • http://obamaproject.windonwater.net QueenTiye

PackyJ – don’t be too mad at him. Sometimes it’s not that easy to sort through priorities. I’m sorry if he genuinely missed his chance to cast his vote in this historic election, but he made his contribution, and it counts. As a Baha’i, I’m not supposed to engage in partisan politics. I don’t belong to any political party, and I am sure that I became overly politicized this election, because there was just no way for me not to support Barack Obama – this was a case where race, and the fundamental wonderfulness of his campaign (with its grassroots emphasis, and its emphasis on bringing people together – all things that appeal to me personally and as a Baha’i) won out. But I was never sure, and am still not sure how far is too far – I negotiated with myself everyday, and did as much as I could in good conscience whenever I could.QT

  • dontpanic23

And there’s always the chance KO was being funny?
