I’ve seen so many administrations come & go. This one is unique. Never in my lifetime has it been the president-elect who was looking presidential, giving press conferences & talking policy during the transition while the sitting president has looked….frankly, insane with only one official thing to do – and it was a stupid thing. It’s pretty amazing.

And jeesus, ceu, did he manage to fuck that up too. He sounded drunk. (Bush at The Pardoning.)

And in that line of thought, ceu…I’m watching MSNBC reports about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai. It’s terrifying in its efficiency and planning. As I think about attacks such as these, and how these groups learn from each other and from the past, I cannot wait for Obama to take the reins. In times of global crisis, I cringe when I think about what Dubya might be doing, and how he much be fucking it up, if he’s paying attention at all. Obama has shown that he is on top of current situations, such as the economy, and I feel a whole lot better knowing he’ll be in the driver’s seat for any future global crisis.
