Fact: the Republicans will attack the Obama administration on the deficit and debt in 2010 and 2012. Count on it. This is one of the reasons why the president-elect is talking about streamlining the budget.

Should the CEOs & Board members of the financial institutions being “bailed out” by the federal government be considered “Domestic Terrorists” ? Just askin’

I saw a suggestion posted in jest on another blog somewhere a while ago. But the more these bailouts are begining to add up, and the longer I think about it, I don’t think it’s sounds as preposterous as I initially thought. The idea is: give every American $250,000 tax free. That’s it. Simple. Many folks would pay off mortgages and other debts, giving banks and financial institutions an influx of working capital. Others would bank it or invest with it. A lot of people would buy cars and other consumer goods, helping small and large businesses alike. It would be a one time deal, and any companies still struggling afterward would be on thier own to recover.

But Alan, there is a flaw in your brilliant plan. The corporations would then be dependant on the consumers and the economy they create, not the other way ’round.I agree with you BTW. I feel that the bailout would have much better served us rather than the corporations. I could easily take that money and makeself financially independant, much to the chagrin of my creditors!

Fact: the Priory of Scion is a secret society…Wait a tick, why isn’t Alaska on this list? How much did Alaska cost? Only about 300 million, you say? Still, maybe we could get something for it at the pawn shop…

Also why can I only post joke comments? Fucking type pad.
