I’ve been watching this old documentary all morning. Here’s part six, featuring some behind-the-scenes banter captured just prior to the first Nixon-Kennedy debate, as well as some familiar-sounding attacks from the stump.

    Unfortunately we didn’t keep Dick in CA. We turned him lose in the WH where he fucked up so bad only GB has out done him. My GOD it’s amazing how little things have changed. Thanks for the clip Bob.

    Wow. Dick was a dick when I was 2, just like when I was 10-15. It is uncanny to see this next to what we just witnessed.Yes we did. Damn.

    The difference, DP, is that when you were 10-15 Dick was a dick in color. The B&W Dick was dicky, but it took a Dick in living color to really dick up the halls of government.
