McCain:

“I think that Tom Ridge — and President Bush — deserve some credit for the fact there’s not been another attack on the United States of America since 9/11,’’ he said.

So stupid. And factually incorrect. I tell you what, if we get to $10,000 by midnight tonight, I’ll post the entirety of The ‘No Attacks’ Mythology chapter from my book. It’s good. You’ll like it.

    Bob, I’m having some problems tracking down your book in Chicago… Tips? Are there particular stores that are carrying it? Or should I just go down the Amazon route?

    Amazon promised us a Nov 1 availability, but as of yesterday, it wasn’t available. I don’t know if that’s because 11/1 was a Saturday. And – as of yesterday, no dates at all on the Kindle edition. :( I’ll keep checking, and hope we get to 10,000 so we can get an advance chapter! :) QT

    The “No Attacks since 9/11″ line is perhaps the most pathetic defense of the Bush presidency out there, and yet you hear every right wing hack resort to this when all else fails. And to think until he was elected we had no attacks on U.S. soil since December 7, 1941. Awesome! Thanks George Bush!
