Weird

Eeeewww:

Wake up America. Barack Obama may really bring change, he may really be a great President…I sure do hope so. But you, me, we are all going to have to open our eyes a little farther to find the truth. We aren’t going to get it from people like Bob Cesca, Ms. Huffington, or Chris Matthews. They’re all too busy wiping their chins after getting back up from their knees in front of our new president.

Gross.

But did you notice? Not once did this guy prove me to be factually inaccurate.

I don’t get it… what were you doing on your knees in front of the President? And what were you wiping from your chin? Perhaps you should create an illustration.//If you do, please warn me so I don’t revisit this thread.

I think this guy is really too obsessed with blowing black dudes ;)

  • ceu

Author didn’t use his name – ya think maybe it’s Halperin? :) The comments were good.Hey, Alaska, do you know wtf is up with this:http://thepoliticalcarnival.blogspot.com/2008/11/chavez-providing-heating-oil-to-alaskan.html

Your post this dude’s so pissed about was excellent and true, but the best way to deal with this liberal bias crap is straight from Arianna. We have to get away from this “objective journalism” crap. It’s killing our national discourse. Here’s the comment I left on that guy’s post. Let’s see if he puts it up there._________________________________________________I think you might be enlightened a little if you listen to Arianna Huffington talk about bias and the purpose of HuffPo: http://tinyurl.com/65qvbcObviously, Bob Cesca was an Obama supporter. Does that mean he can’t still write commentaries about the so-called liberal bias? No. At least he’s honest about his perspective though. The problem with so-called “objective journalism” is those who operate within it work harder to prove they are unbiased than they do to report the truth. Yes, there are two opposite extremes, but the truth does NOT lie in the middle. Huffington proposes that journalists eliminate the false pretense and be honest so they can have the freedom to investigate the truth, rather than constantly dealing with the fear that they are slanting too far to one side. If you want true objective journalism, watch Democracy Now! Amy Goodman may be looked upon as a person of the left, but she is not held captive by a need to cater to the middle. She reports the truth as SHE sees it. Sometimes it hurts Democrats, sometimes it hurts Republicans. Her bias is towards the people…and that’s how it should be.

  • SamusAran

Well that’s just silly. Everyone knows President Obama is far too classy a guy to dribble on anyone’s chin.

  • dontpanic23

Ha, he called you a pig?!?! This guy needs to be reported to the principal for blogging on the middle-school computers.

I love this response:>>>Steak Tartar Says:November 28, 2008 at 6:12 pmYou know there’s a huge difference between “Wake up America” and “Wake up, America”, right? Kind of like the one between “Eat my friends” and “Eat, my friends” and “Come on Eileen” and “Come on, Eileen”.

Ceu,Yes, I learned about this a few years ago… probably near the time when Hugo Chavez said George Bush was a devil and he smelled sulfur every time he went near him.Citgo — owned by Venezuela — apparently donated a bunch of heating fuel to many of our “bush” villages.I remember a few years back people were talking about it. Some people were saying the villages shouldn’t accept the heating fuel — nobody cared to think of how people were to survive in -40 degree temperatures all winter long — and others brought up what I thought was a great argument, “Why does another country have to support the survival of American communities?” And my question was always, “Why are communities in Alaska — that is completely awash with oil and money — having to seek fuel from foreign countries?”I haven’t heard a reasonable explanation yet.

    >>>Steak Tartar Says:November 28, 2008 at 6:12 pmThat WAS good…I also liked the nic “I Eat Gravel”.

  • LanCoPA

Five out of the six responses on the site the article came from, supported and/or agreed with Bob!

  • dswagz

Reality has a liberal bias. Unlike Fox, CNN, AM radio, and most of the MSM.

  • ceu

Alaska – hmmm, I was hoping you’d be the one with a reasonable explanation. Citgo/Venezuela donates heating oil to New England as well. It’s not one of our major resources, tho, and our governors aren’t described as knowing more about energy than anyone in America.Sorry – didn’t mean to sidetrack the thread. Now back to the regularly scheduled discussion of whether Bob should ask Santa for kneepads.

bibimimi,I Eat Gravel is me. :)

Wow…And… ewwwwww….Um… not too much else to say, other than that the comments were brilliant. :) QT

  • http://www.osborneink.com Matt Osborne

I think it’s freakin’ hysterical that the author considers HuffPo part of the MSM.

  • bibimimi

I Eat Gravel is me. :) Therefore, Alaska, you go on with your bad self!PS. Typekeypadwadturd is a crap burrito.

  • dontpanic23

Alaska, I thought I recognized that name. Yours was great too. I tend to first highlight the one that makes me giggle the most, which was Steak Tartar’s.

  • Teaflax

And Steak Tartar was me. Lack of a comma before a direct address is one of my major pet peeves.I thank you for the kind comment, dontpanic23 (and I ask again; is that nick Douglas Adams + Robert Anton Wilson, or something else?)

  • dontpanic23

Damn, Teaflax. You pegged me on both fronts. I know many read Adams but Wilson? That’s an obscure reference. Shit, I’m floored. I have 2 tattoos with Wilson/23 references on them. One based mostly on his satire-n-stuff plus throw in some Krassner. The other is entirely Wilson.FUCK FUCK FUCK TYPEWAD. Thanksgiving is over. SIX FUCKING TIMES TO LOGIN. SIX! FUCK TYPEWAD.

  • dswagz

Speaking of Weird…TypePad is a Suckwad P-I-A.(seems if I use my E address it understands how it’s s’posed to work)

  • Teaflax

Well, 23 and 42 have been major themes in my own life, so it wasn’t that unlikely a hunch. I reread The Illuminati Papers a year or so ago, only to find that a great many of the views and ideas that I have been so proud of “forming myself, instead of getting them from some book” were from there.

13 of the 14 responses to PPP’s post were ProBama/ProBob. I’m OK with that ratio.
