Al Franken Leads By Four Votes!

TPM reporting:

This is big: For the very first time in the Minnesota recount, Al Franken has taken the lead in the running vote count from Minneapolis Star-Tribune. As of 10:18 a.m. ET, Franken now leads by four votes.

No word as to whether Lizard People have conceded yet, but they can’t be happy with this news.

UPDATE: Franken is now up by 257 votes. Lizard People refused to comment.

    Actually – according to Nate Silver, the ballots for Lizard People were deemed more valid than ballots for Brett Favre. Go figure!QT

    I believe Franken’s team put that 4 vote lead story out a week or so ago while it was still unofficial. And the weirdly accurate Nate Silver called Franken by 27 votes.This is going to drag on a long time and the outcome will be messy by any standard. Minnesota should just call “do over” and revote.I bet Lizard People would pick up a lot of votes now that they’ve gotten so much press.
