Failure of Intelligence

As Sargent writes, the establishment media is enabling the president’s ridiculous, “I don’t know — the biggest regret of all the presidency has to have been the intelligence failure in Iraq,” excuse.

Of course this excuse is like saying, “My biggest regret was when that school bus filled with children got in the way of my swerving car (when I was driving drunk).” And, naturally, he ignores the fact that his administration cherry-picked the intel, lied to the world, and listened to a scam artist named Ahmed Chalabi.

But the press is almost equally as motivated to revise and obfuscate history. Over the next couple of months, expect a lot more revisionism from both the president and the establishment media.

The battle to write the final draft of the history of the Bush years is on.

The true “intel failure” belongs to the a$$holes that elected a moron – TWICE!That’s the classic example of “intelligence failure”! Of course these are the same morons that think Sarah Palin is just peachy keen! The so called conservative base consists of people that can’t be described with any derivative of the word “intelligence”.Hateful, ignorant dumba$$’s – one and all!

Just an OT thought:Watching Obama and Biden this morning addressing the governors about our economic mess I couldn’t help but almost weep! After 8 years of mindless babble combined with bravado and downright BS, I saw and heard two guys with true intelligence and a huge level of HUMILITY!Yeah – humility! what a welcome sight!

The liberal and progressive blogosphere has to be vigilant in keeping the real story on the surface and push back against revisionist history. The blogs are only getting stronger as we progress into a new century of internet information as can be seen by the inclusion of leading bloggers on the MSM outlets.

We only need look at Bush’s interview with his own sister when asked what he would miss most about being president and he replied 1 – Air Force One, 2 -the chefs at the White House and 3 – no traffic.

    Worst. President. Ever.

I saw this too. So sad. He is so clueless he’ll just rattle on in front of a camera. January 20th cannot come soon enough.

Bush really is a negligent WAR CRIMINAL.He cherry picks “intelligence” from proven liars such as Curveball and Chalabi and then NEVER verifies the info. Christ, even high school newspapers will verify before they print a story. Bush GOES TO WAR based on unverified info and – so far – gets away with it. SHAMEFUL.
