Lazy Obama

As I predicted a week ago, the Bush dead-enders are griping about President-elect Obama’s Hawaii vacation.

NRO’s Greg Pollowitz wrote a blog entry the other day with the headline “While The Big Three Go Bankrupt…” implying that the president-elect should cancel his vacation in lieu of the economic crisis.

Greg, Greg, Greg. You ignorant bastard. As Jesse Taylor points out, Obama isn’t the president yet. Also, we have a president right now and it’s not Barack Obama. In fact, the other day Rachel Maddow reported that President Bush enjoyed an entire day without anything on his schedule. Nothing!

Also, there’s this historical fact that President-elect Obama has presided over the fastest-moving transition in modern American history.

The intellectual violence is staggering.

    Well this does not surprise me at all. I have already run across sarcastic references to the “fake” Office of the President Elect Sign, that Obama uses during this transition. What the hell do they want this guy to do…. insert big sigh here…..

    Why this double standard should surprise anyone suprises me. This country has become so whopper-jog in the last 8 years that it makes my head swirl. We’ve finally gotten an INTELLIGENT engaged man to be president, and the damn GOPhers and the MSM are determined to bring him down before he even enters office. Obama has stated repeatedly that we only have one president at a time. And he’s been excoriated for that. “He needs to step up.” Yadayadayada. He has no power yet. Give the guy a freaking break.
