    Not to pick nits, but it’s Shane Acker’s film (based on his Oscar-nominated short). Tim Burton’s producing it.

    I watched the upcoming movie trailer and the original short, both of which reminded me of the German animation short, “Balance” (which I first saw at a Spike and Mike’s animation festival in 1990).
