    I voted for this, and voted for Cokie–In my opinion, it was the epitomy of all the BBQ bullshit Obama had to contend with throughout the campaign; you know, the one where the media was in the tank for Obama.What pisses me off even further is the real elites are the ones in the mainstream BBQ media, and yet they constantly try to cast themselves as “regular folks.” Cable news does this the most–especially on Fixed News.

    What gets me is that Cokie is the offspring of Congressman Hale & Congresswoman Lindy Boggs.By contrast, the offspring of Congressman Nick Begich (who died along with Hale Boggs) is now the freshman Senator from Alaska.

    Earlier today on MSNBC, Tamaryn whatever-her-name-is was interviewing someone about the Obama report coming out tomorrow re: contacts with Blago. She said that she suspected there wouldn’t be anything negative about the transition team since Obama is in Hawaii. “Otherwise he wouldn’t be out of the country”

    Well Myrtle Beach is in a nice Republican state. I can see Cokie wanting that. And just think of the economic stimulus he could spark. All he would have to do is sign a contract with one of the 100s of time share companies down there.
