Great article, Bob. I’m really tired of “throw everything you can at Barack Obama and hope something sticks”. Your blog seems like the only sane place in the universe. I’m glad I found it.

I’m sure President (- elect ) Obama just can’t wait to be inaugurated so, as his first official act, he can pardon Blagojevich. For a large contribution, of course.

Speaking as an independent, I want to know, what’s the big deal with asking Barack what he knew and when he knew it? More than that, though, I want to know how many other Governors have done this, or are doing it. Like I said before, it’s very hard for me to believe this only happens in Illinois.From my point of view, if Barack Oobama is going to change Washington, the first place he can start is by being more open and forthcoming than his last two predecessors were. I don’t see how that could harm him, especially in a time when many Americans almost completely mistrust their elected officials, and the media.To me, the silence from his camp just looks like more of the same old washington. Great.

Blago and enthusiastically endorsed him for the second.Explain why the the sentencing of Reszko (Obama’s close 20-year friend) was scheduled for October but was conveniently delayed till after the election; now again postponed to after Obama’s swearing-in?Explain why the Blago plug was pulled so quickly before the bigger fish could be implicated…Daley, Obama?Why the sudden denials by Axelrod, after admitting on TV that Obama met with Blago?Who was on the 2-hour conference call with Blago?I live in Chicago and Obama played the same game all politicians in Chicago played…if you want to play, you pay! That’s why he was forced to give back all big bucks Reszko raised for him. Yeh, when caught, just plead ignorance, and return the ‘tainted’ money!He’s pulling more of the same in the Blago case. It’s Democrat Daley Machine politics as usual. But they’re all SO O O O shocked and sobered. Yeh, that’s because one of their own got caught!
