This is a ridiculous story. Ed Rendell was captured on an open mic saying that Janet Napolitano has plenty of time to devote to DHS because she’s single without kids. Oh noes!

Fact: single people without families tend to have more flexibility than those of us with spouses and kids.

    How do we know that President – Elect Obama didn’t strongly consider the fact that she is a childless single when he vetted her for the post? If the DHS is as big a mess as believed, someone will be spending 24/7 organizing it. I can’t see Mr. Rogers, with roast beef waiting for him at home by Six, being suitable for the job.
