The Governator is getting his wish. No, not the wish about a line of 14,000 bottoms to grope. The wish about being allowed to set rigorous emission standards for his state. But not just his state, says the NYT:

President Obama will direct federal regulators on Monday to move swiftly on an application by California and 13 other states to set strict automobile emission and fuel efficiency standards, two administration officials said Sunday evening.

How soon before Rush relocates to a cave with his bosom bud Osama bin Laden so they can brainstorm how to make anyone care about what they say anymore? The cave, it goes without saying, will be in Midland, TX.

    Excellent. CA was going to bring a lawsuit over this issue. I don’t know if they did, but this will get it tossed since the issue is now moot.Isn’t it obscene when a state has to sue the federal government to allow the state to apply its own clean air standards? Bush claimed to be for state’s rights. He lied about that too.
