Clinton Confirmation Hearings

Secretary-designate Hillary Clinton’s confirmation hearings begin today. And you know what that means.

MSNBC’s Kelly O’Donnell (one of the two-dozen or so “O’Donnells” on MSNBC) just reported:

As you know, Chris, the new Foreign Relations Committee chairman is John Kerry. He and Senator Clinton have some history of their own. [...] In this race, when she was really fighting for her life to try to defeat Barack Obama, it was John Kerry who sided with Barack Obama. [...] The stakes are high! There’s going to be tension in the air!

    Yes, Chris Matthews keep going on and on, speculating about scenarios that have already been pretty widely shot down. For example, the “When Hillary got VP, was she offered SOS right away?” Honestly, she may have been offered some vague sort of position, but I doubt that people in the Clinton world would have kept that a secret….and if that HAD been the deal, there wouldn’t have been such a PUMA fit and squabbling among the fundraisers. Chris also just speculated that “perhaps Joe Biden wanted to be in that chair today”. Didn’t Obama say to Biden “You can have either VP or SOS. Which do you want?” Does Chris do any research?

    yeah…well Kelly-I covered-McCain-with-a -school-girl-crush thinks Drama is getting her Lipstick to match her shoes…and was not a huge fan of Hillary or Obama….or Kerry…so I am sure she is miserable….poor thing…( and to the person who asked if Chris does research…yeah, as much as Kelly….)

    heh….Chris just went to Kelly “You have some news to break about NY” and she said “I don’t know what you are talking about.”Anyway, the “news” was that the Republican minority in the NY assembly is pushing for a special election and don’t want the gov to appoint someone. What freaking babies.

    Someone tape Vitter’s mouth shut please. He’s just been like “Not to beat a dead horse, but what about disclosures from the Clinton Global Initiative (even though Ive just asked you 5 times and it’s not required by law and President Clinton has gone way above what was required just to get Hillary into this hearing)”And Hillary keeps saying, the Initiative has a practice of disclosure already but WHY ISNT IT IN THAT ONE PARAGRAPH IN THE ONE DOCUMENT THING OMG I NEED TO CALM DOWN WITH A HOOKER AND A MINT JULEP!
