    When I lived in Seattle I drove past Staley’s old condo almost daily — the place where he wasted away. His last days were odd. Before he completely retreated from the world, people basically ignored him as he staggered around the city in a drug-induced haze. Gotta love life… and people.This reminds me: I need to return to Seattle during the next few days.

    im actually kinda pissed that these guys are reuniting.jerry cantrells solo stuff is pretty great but alice in chains is not alice in chains without lane staley.

    Layne Staley RIP.Ck out Mad Season if you get the chance, it’s a side project he did and it’s amazing.As much as I love Jerry Cantrell, noone can take Layne’s place, like Paul Rodgers should have never joined Queen in my opinion.

    The Unplugged videos are hard to watch, he’s so frail, even singing was hard.R.I.P. Lane.In my opinion, if they want to get back together, fine, just don’t call the band Alice in Chains. there’s been only one band that survived the death of a member: AC/DC.
