Oh Look. The Republicans Are Wrong Again.

You may have seen a Republican shmendrick on Hardball yesterday screaming about a CBO report indicating that a large portion of the $825 billion economic recovery plan won’t be available to spend until 2011.

It turns out, this CBO report doesn’t exist.

“We did not issue any report, any analysis or any study,” a CBO aide told the Huffington Post.

That didn’t stop the establishment press and a conga line of Republican Ruprects from spreading this all over the damn place with the talking point that the recovery plan wouldn’t help the economy to, well, recover.

Shocking that the Republicans and the establishment press would totally botch the details on something really, really important.

    This is another Rush talking point. I heard him screaming about this the other day. I am so happy Obama called him out. He needs to handle Rush the same way as he campaigned against the Clintons and McCain. It will be good practice for 2012 when we see non stop photos of him swearing in without a bible.Palin/Jesus 2012?
