This is pretty amazing:

A national poll suggests that three-quarters of the public thinks President-elect Barack Obama is a strong and decisive leader, the highest marks for a president-elect on that characteristic in nearly three decades.

Yeah, but why can’t he reach 100 percent? Why can’t he close the deal?

Because he’s too exotic. Obviously.

    That other quarter is the Christofascists and their only slightly less fascist cohorts. We already know what kind of leadership (or lack thereof) impresses them.

    Are using the words leader and leadership with respect to the Bush administration an oxymoron? It certainly feels like some sort of language abuse.

    Polls also show that 3/4 of Americans think Bush is a terrible president. There’s probably some cross over there. What’s terrifying is that fully 1/4 of Americans still cling to the delusion that Bush knew what he was doing.I wonder how many them were also among those who believed he was anointed by God.

    Probably because Obama spends too much time vacationing while the world flies apart at the seams. Hopefully, he was taking speech classes the whole time ’cause he needs to work on his diction.My God (Brigantia), what have we done? We elected this guy and he isn’t even 100% popular or nothin’!
