Quote of the Day

“I notice that there’s a lot of legacy building. It’s sort of the idea, like, they put out the — the — we printed off the PDF: 100 Things Americans May Not Know About the Bush Administration Record. The thing that I found most interesting about it — it’s not numbered.”
Jon Stewart to Dana Perino

If that memo is not pure fiction, then it is the ultimate proof of the existence of parallel universes………..

I downloaded the pdf and read through it. There are a few truths buried in there (like pushing their anti-family planning agenda and stacking the courts), but it’s mostly your typical bureaucratic BS of saying the same crap in several different ways to increase the count (as Stewart pointed out, it isn’t numbered – and I didn’t count). Also typical is the slap everything you did on paper and call it an accomplishment.

Sometimes I think I’ll miss the humor they provided, but then I remember all the real harm they have caused.

They forgot to add “No BJs in the Oval Office.”Unless there was some truth to the Jeff Gannon rumors………after all, they wouldn’t want to lie, would they…….

That interview was nearly unbearable last night. She’s a full-on cyborg. I can’t believe that that woman was the spokesperson for the President. Actually wait, yes I can.

Actually, I enjoyed Jon Stewart needling Perino almost every sentence to their discourse.

Ummm… “Led the response to the 2008 financial crisis”Ga-huh?

Stewart was great but Perino… she has no soul.

“100 Things Americans May Not Know About the Bush Administration Record”Look, I am but a simple caveman. So, can anyone tell me if any other president has put out piece such as this in the past? What a crock.

Imagine if Team Bush had put the same about of effort that they’re putting into the legacy project into actually governing well.
