By now you’ve probably heard the news that the president-elect will be signing an executive order within the first week of his presidency to close the military detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Goddamn.

The tide really is turning.

And, again, if you want to know how much BushCo, specifically Cheney, got wet in the pants for torture, scope out Jane Mayer’s “The Dark Side.” Just eye-opening shit about this administrations’ complete bungling of their own self-proclaimed “war on terror” because they literally fancied themselves real-life Jack Bauers. Newsflash: Kiefer Sutherland is a drunk who publicly tackles Christmas trees – which is actually kind of cool.

    Goddamn what a way to wake up. (Gravel, it’s just what happens when you throw a bunch of megastars together for a cause–often it sounds horrible unless you put yourself there for the cause.
