The Obamas Finally Choose A Dog!

Oh, I’m kidding! That’s actually a Counter Assault attack dog with some guards posted near the north portico. The real reason I uploaded this photograph is that I’ve never seen this view of the White House. I had no idea that the ground sloped down to that mote-like trench along the corridors leading to the west wing.

    Is that some kind of muzzle on the dog’s head?As to the slope of the ground, maybe there’s a reason we never see this angle. GI: got any theories about the tactical uses of that lay of ground?
