This Makes The Warren Controversy Look Silly

Not really. No. But, remarkably, it’s almost as contentious.

Foodies (food bloggers) are engaged in a heated debate about the qualifications of the White House chef, Cristeta Comerford, who was asked by the Obamas to remain on board after the Bushies leave next week. Is she good enough to rise to the gastronomic demands of the Obamas? And will her skills please the allegedly distinctive Obama palates even though she was Bush’s executive chef?

Eddie brings us an interesting review of the controversy, along with an exclusive interview with former White House executive chef Walter Scheib.

Truly absurd. She’s got a proven track record, the Bushes were happy with her, the Obamas have met and like her, so lets move on to something relevant and worth debating.

    >>She’s got a proven track recordScheib agrees.

Did she give Bush those pretzels?……..

  • Kat

The same chef that the Bushies used? *gasp* How could they? I mean, next we’ll hear that the Obamas are planning to use the same cleaning service in the White House! That’s not change we can believe in, my friends!!

This is by far the most important Cabinet appointment yet. From what I have seen of Prez Obama’s palate this chef better know how to cook processed meats. Preparing SPAM it an art not a science. If she cooked the SPAM wrong Obama could start hallucinating and push the big red button. This appointment is a matter of national security.

Kat brings up and interesting point. If I were the first black president I would have only white folks to do the cooking, cleaning, yard work, building the new Black House and some young white girls to serve the MASSA.

Well – it was funny when Lee blogged about it. It’s still funny now that Bob’s blogging about it. But following the link Bob provided to an actual “foodie” (FOODIE?!?!?!) blog, is hysterical. Hysterical, and yet, because I’m me, I’m actually interested in the controversy…QT

i think this is actually a decent question. does anyone see bush eating something other than alphabet soup, fish sticks, and jello?!

Speaking of Warren, this is stuff we’d be enjoying if the fairness doctrine came back.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ftc-u5x3ZU
