Bobby Jindal

Yet another example of how the Republicans love to elevate caricatures rather than viable leaders. This guy is the Republican answer to Barack Obama? Oh I see. Because he’s an “exotic” guy. The Republicans have this twisted dress-’em-up flight suit way of looking at people. They can’t see beyond the facade. People want a woman? Give them Palin, even though Palin had none of the qualities that made Clinton a great candidate and leader. People like African-Americans? Give them Steele, even though Steele is a great big nothing. People like war heroes? Dress up Bush in a flight suit and bingo! War hero.

I still believe Jindal’s boat story will turn out to be total bullshit. And he bragged about closing NO’s public schools, firing the teachers then rehiring them back at half their salary and privatizing the school system. And he repeated the SuperTrain from Disneyland to Las Vegas lie!!!Who do we think will play him this Saturday on SNL?

Three words came to mind after the first minute of the Jindal response: What. The. Fuck? Was he trying to sell me a used car? I was waiting for him to hold up the Slap-Chop he was holding out of camera view.Jindal and Palin are the future of the GOP? Can’t wait to attend that funeral!

Yeah, Nano. I laughed out loud when he went with the Disneyland/Vegas supertrain. What an amateur. And what the fuck is he bringing up Katrina for? It was Bush’s debacle. You know, the REPUBLICAN president! Remember him?

Dont forget they all wanted “a Reagan” this summer so they coaxed Fred Thompson out of a movie trailer to spend $25 million dollars and get 3 delegates. They will never learn….ever

Of course, my favorite part of this was watching it on MSNBC, and as Jindal did that stagey walk in, you could hear Olbermann mutter “oh god” before they cut his mike. I mean, seriously. He couldn’t just already be standing there?

The Republicans have no chance of finding a leader until they get past the “how it looks” part and “state everything exactly as the RNC wants it said” idea of getting a message across. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Say it often enough that the Bible and Guns crowd gets it on the drill. Yeah. Drill, baby, drill. thats their method. Somebody ought to take that RNCC and shake it up-get rid of some of those power freaks.

The Republicans love of the empty, mindless, corporate cheerleaders such as Palin, Jindal & Limbaugh is breathtaking in it’s STUPIDITY!!!!!!

Exactly!I’m a huge fan of Bill Moyers. He’s one of the best for going right to the trunk of the tree with his political ax. Relevant to your current post and typical of Gods Own Party, is what Bill wrote on page 373 of his book “Moyers on Democracy.”It helps explain why the Republican Party does the reactionary kind of b.s. Bob speaks about here.Moyers: “The Religious Right has become the dominant force in America’s governing party (this was written while Bush II was in office).Without them the government would not be in the hands of people who don’t believe in government. They are culpable in upholding a system of class and race in which the rich thrive and the poor barely survive. And, many of them are crusading not for a government of, by, and for the people but one based on biblical authority.” End Moyers.Hating government is a root cause of the psychopathology of the Republican Party. Putting Steele and Jindal and Palin in front of cameras is a way of trying to protect this anti-government scam they had/have going.America will never be able to achieve Constitutional greatness as long as we have the Religious Right pulling the strings of one of our two major parties. Use an internet tool like WorldMaster.com and look at where the U.S. places among countries that don’t believe in evolution. The percentage of folks in the United States who don’t believe in evolution is almost close to half of the country. They don’t care about the Constitution because they prefer theocracy. In truth our Republicans have more in common with Iranian Ayatollahs than Democracy because they look to a supreme being as their basis for forming their codes and laws.
