Historical Note to Santelli and Malkin

Before you open your spazzy yaps, read some history.

FACT: The Boston Tea Party was mainly precipitated by what amounted to a corporate tax cut.

Colonists, disgusted by the Stamp Act and other oppressive British legislation, organized a boycott of the world’s first mega-corporation: the British East India Company.

In order to ameliorate financial losses caused by the boycott, Parlaiment passed the Tea Act of 1773, which significantly reduced the taxes/duty on tea sold by the East India Company, thus allowing this mega-corporation to sell directly to the colonies and to significantly undercut independent prices offered by smaller colonial tea companies.

And so the famous Boston Tea Party was organized.

This “uprising” by Malkin and Santelli, ostensibly to protest helping middle and working class homeowners, is more closely in line with having a tea party — in support of the British East India Company.

    It will be interesting to see how they usurp the facts of this to spin their “we are more patriotic than you” status. Why can’t they just realize they lost? Why does the MSM keep giving them airtime? Why do they keep playing that idiot from CNBC over and over? Git is right, it is the corporations.I would hate to think there will be another revolution in this country. Especially because all the gun owners, except GI, are on that side.and LOL willpen!     The Santelli rant is corporatist propaganda at its finest. It was clearly scripted. The twitter evidence is undeniable. Oversimplification, demonization, misinformation, disinformation, and outright lies. It uses every known technique.It would be awesome if it were not so despicable.

    Ver,It is cool. I wasn’t insulted. I am very honored that you believe I am capable of handling a weapon. In no way am I a supporter of assault weapons, pistols, large amounts of ammunition, explosives and hillbillies/NRA. I am a local PA boy that had a grandfather(that I loved more than anything in this world) that took my country ass hunting but never target practicing and never spoke any unkind words about people of color.So TARGET PRACTICE + ASSAULT WEAPONS + RACISM/NRA/GOP MEMBERSHIP = A shit storm of hate that will take a very long time to go away.
