Bob, the “zero cred” meme is hitting home. A “nutty Republicans” meme is the next logical step. I wish the Democrats would catalog these failures as efficiently as you do:”They’re screaming about fear-mongering, even though we had eight years of this.They’re screaming about fiscal responsibility, even though we had eight years of this.They’re screaming about free speech, even though we had eight years of this and this and this.They’re honest to God screaming about fascism, even though we had eight years of this and this and this.”That’s perfect sound-bite material, right there! Can we get you in the pundits parade? Shall we email these talking points to our representatives? How do we get the word out??For starters, I’m putting that quote (with links this time) in my own blog. It’s about to become my standard response to wingnuts everywhere I go.

That was great, Bob! They really are insane. Unfortunately, they represent a fair percentage of our country. Remember the Nazis were a fringe group of wing nuts before they seized power. Fortunately, our wing nuts were so bad at administrating that they have had their elected ranks culled nicely.Since I am overseas now, I am more limited in my political voyeurisms, so I choose to ignore much of the puke spewed by the right. Now I treat them like the crazy, foaming, stained crotch, demento, street preacher. Don’t make eye contact, walk quickly away.
