CNN conducted a poll just a little more than a week ago that found 60 percent approval for Democratic leaders in congress, and 39 percent disapproval, for a net of +21 points. Republican leaders in congress, however, had won the approval of 44 percent of the public, while 55 percent disapproved, for a net of -11 points.

    First off, I miss the McCain supporters pic.Second, someone should inform the Republicans that we, the American people are not laughing with them, we’re laughing at them.Or, maybe we shouldn’t.Arlen Specter is my senator, and I got a formal (read that “form”) apology from him this morning saying how he had tried his best, and had been forced to make compromises, etc. Guy does something decent, and has to apologize to the Repubs. Sad. Never was particularly fond of Mr. Magic Bullet, but I do think he did the right thing in this case, and is going to lose his shot in the primary.
