Okay; let’s start with Chris Matthews! Do you think – as he apparently does – that America is judging President Obama by the downward spiral in the Stock Market?

I’m having a hard time watching Matthews anymore. The market is so damned fickle, there’s no way that it could be a good gauge for the administration’s decisions. As the economy goes, so goes the market. Give it six months to a year to see a change.

What’s Bobby Jindal going to do when he refuses federal stimulus money and Louisiana gets SMACKED with another hurricane?Did he refuse the federal funds to help rebuild his underwater city after Katrina?

Wall St doesn’t seem to understand that Wall St is not the entire economy. When it was flying high, people were still struggling. It’s an indicator of the health of the economy, but it’s not the whole thing….Jim Cramer just said on Hardball that he’s not seeing hope (out there in America or on Wall St., I’m not sure which). Too bad, Jim. I’m seeing hope – heck, I’m feeling hope for the first time in 8 years. Yes, things suck out here in the work world – people losing jobs & homes, charities losing billions on the stock market – but I’m still seeing hope on the faces of the people. Amazing, eh?
