Annette,I am two months away from being sworn into the US Army as a Commissioned Officer. I am currently an enlisted member of the US Army and have sworn and oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and follow all orders of the Officers appointed over me.Commissioned Officers in the US Army get their DIRECT POWER from the POTUS. We also serve at his leisure. This Lt. is having a hard time in Iraq and wants to get out of there even if it means he will be dishonorably discharged from the US Army and won’t be able to get a job at McDonalds. I am appalled!!!I can’t express my boiling angry about this over the intertubes. Something had better be done about this and handle with the utmost severity. I had to put up with BUSH for 8 years and two combat tours and never wrote a letter to challenge the constitutionality of waging a war of choice. FUCK!!!

Annette,Don’t confuse the entire military to be drum beating GOP loving assholes. All Officers have at least a bachelors degree and some from very liberal colleges. I believe that this asshole’s commander is unaware of his actions. Put we as concerned citizens could inform his company commander, battalion commander, Gen Ordeino, the Inspector General, the JAG CORP, the Joint Chief of Staff, the VPOTUS and even the POTUS(but he is kind of busy trying to fight the multiple forest fires that BUSH left for him).

Oh I know the entire military isn’t this way.. Like I said my dad was a vet.. I come from a very strong Democratic military family and we have always supported the POTUS.. Democratic or Republican.. doesn’t matter.. you still support him no matter his politics…Thats why this just makes me ill.. how can anyone dishonor their uniform like that.. and their country and the POTUS.

Trust me it took everything I had not to dishonor my uniform when BUSH was in office. But I had the GDAB to vent my anger and I still tried to be somewhat respect when I wrote about BUSH because I had the smallest amount of respect for his title.
