The John Ziegler Meltdown

Excellent journalism! I would of beat the shit out of that “sackless” motherfucker with the microphone.

Watching this video a while ago on another site, I was struck by Ziegler’s defensiveness. His accusations aren’t just ludicrous, they’re reactionary to the facts Blumenthal asks him about.Now that I’ve watched it again, I have to say I’m amazed with Blumenthal. He had exactly the right response. Not many of us could stand with that microphone and let our detractor rant like that from just three feet away. Ziegler keeps averring to a lack of masculinity, but Blumenthal’s belying his words with his persistence. The longer Ziegler continues his conniption fit, the worse he looks.Republicans really are turning into their own worst enemies. All we have to do is let them keep talking.

Every year Blumenthal delivers at CPAC this maybe his best work yet. This understated take down of a belligerent rant by a Conservative should be studied and emulated for years to come. We all know the only thing that truly makes the CONS tick is pissing Libs off. While Max brilliantly maintains his composure throughout, Ziegler is basically left to argue with himself and look like a complete fool. Bravo Max

Now THAT was excellent journalism, Max!I saw Zig on Morning Joe (why oh why do I even tune in to that kind of Fuc*ery?) nevertheless, spewing the same ole media bs in regard to his “documentary” about the great governor of the State of Alaska. Made me ill.You are one cool cat, Max, yes, you are.

I’m sorry but whether you like his style or not, Ziegler’s comments about the media bias in the last election is on the money. Every gaffe Palin made was front page news while Obama and Biden got a completely free pass. The media dropped all pretence of objectivity. It was truly sad, even when it was happening to Hillary Clinton.The anger that Ziegler emits is indicative of a very strong anger that is building across the country. Many believe correctly that the media did its best to deliver the election to Obama.Here are a few examples of really stupid things Obama said that got zero media coverage:1. I’ve been to 57 states and have one more to go.2. John McCain is running for George W. Bush’s 4th term. I’m sorry, but wouldn’t have been third?3. He said his parents were able to hook-up and create him because there was some good craziness going on because some people marched across a bridge in Selma, Al. Only problem is he was born four years before the march. He was speaking in Selma so I guess he wanted to score a few points with the home town crowd.4. He also incorrectly stated that when Russia put nuclear missiles in Cuba, Kennedy met with Krushchev and got those missiles out. History books will tell you that the missiles were placed in Cuba after they met.5. Barack stated that his uncle was part of the U.S. forece that liberated the Auschwitz concentration camps. Good story, but Russian trooops liberated those camps, not American troops.6. The chosen one speaking to a group of veterans made the following statement:”It’s great to be with with you on a day that America honors its fallen heroes. I see many of you in the audience.”If Sarah Palin, had made these remarks, the media would have asked her if she had the ability to see dead (fallen) people.The media also ignored Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
