Proud we cut over 100 billion out of recov bill.Many Ds don’t like it, but needed to be done.The silly stuff Rs keep talking about is OUT.

“Proud” to have cut the possibility of 2.5 million new jobs. Seriously?!

Yep. The Senate Democrats have an awesome way of dealing with crazy people: when the Republicans “talk about stuff,” the Democrats — errrm — cut it? God-effing-dammit.

That silly stuff includes big reductions (relative to the House Bill) in food stamps, school construction, head start, and COBRA subsidies for people who have lost their jobs.

    these job cutting moderates are making it sound as if the whole bill is some terribly vicious piece of legislation being wielded by enemies of the u.s.,and somehow these brave,heroic moderates stood up to the big bad bill and managed to wound it to the tune of 110 billion or so.whats going on right now is a perfect example of pres. obama said about democrats “snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

    Very disappointing to hear that from McCaskill. If they wanted to cut $100 billion out of the bill, it should have been the tax cuts first.
