It’s about time Star Trek got a serious update. Not that funny jokes about balsamic vinaigrette with your crysanthamums aren’t great and all.

    Very Cool!

Too much blather. Too little blaster. Set phasers to Bore.

I am SO going to see this…this as opposed to the Watchmen, which I’m likely going to give a pass (has anyone seen it? Is it 13 year old worthy?)QT

I can’t wait! I’m a Trekkie from way back. I’m not the costume wearing Klingon speaking variety, but a Trekkie just the same.

I bet I can get it on a bootleg DVD here in China right now.

I just read the graphic novel last month, figuring I’d share it with Crimson Avenger, but as I read it – I said, oh… no… I don’t think so. I’m trying to get a sense of if the visuals are less disturbing than the print, which was awful on so many levels. Some reviews I’ve read seemed to make it seem less “adult” and more PG-13. But I’ll check out the Salon review. My gut says – this isn’t one I’m going to see with my boy.QT

I see the earth imploding. This ensures that a backwards time-travel will ensue to restore the earth to its rightful place, in this universe, at least. (Yeah, I’m a geek. I know all the sci-fi plots by heart).

On another note, I recently saw a lecture by http://www.physorg.com/news63371210.html ” rel=”nofollow”> this physics professor, who’s working on a time travel machine. For real.
