Colbert is a Genius

This made me laugh the laugh of all laughs.

I didn’t catch a word of what Cramer was saying because — well, just watch.

Better yet was his take down of Glenn Beck with his Doom Bunker. Incredible stuff.

Honestly, the comedians are going to save us. They know far better than the pundits how this all works.

Off topic: Hey Bob, have you seen the John J. Wall “Letter To Liberals” that’s been circulating the ‘tubes?

  • jmrunning3

I agree, Ruthie. Humor and sarcasm always seems to make a point in a much faster and sharper way. Also, I think the comedians and satirists aren’t bound by how they say something in the same way that the VSMSM(tm) and BBQMSM(tm) are.

Colbert, Olberman, and Steward remind me of the snarky douchebag spazzy white guys on the back of the school bus who would bust on everyone and anyone smaller and younger than they, yukking it up, until tables turned and they grew bigger and beat the crap out of their snarky douchebag faces. At least it gave them a reason to get a nose job to match their new anglo show names.

It’s amazing to me how easily Stewart and Colbert are able to point out just how full of shit the news (any, for that matter) media is.

  • thruwithbuzz

@TrollFreeBlogsAreBoring I don’t know what school you went to, but the guys on the back of my bus that would “bust on everyone and anyone smaller and younger than they” were the asshole jocks, not the clowns. The class clowns were the ones being picked on.

puppy Stewart & kitten Colbert are adorable…and that fog machine nearly covering the general on “Doom Bunker” was visual metaphor – fake FX news is nothing but a fog machine without the fake fog.

    >>>Off topic: Hey Bob, have you seen the John J. Wall “Letter To Liberals” that’s been circulating the ‘tubes?Posted by: J0hnGalt at March 6, 2009 1:01 PMOh man, that thing’s amazing. They want to divide up the country, that’s fine. Here’s someone responding to a liberal post in the comments:”I don’t think it would go over well if we tried burying you guys with nuclear waste either. I’m sure you guys would somehow figure a way to weasel some free health care out of it. So divorce, in at least most cases, is less bloodier than civil war. And other than Denny Crain – I would want this young man [the letter writer] on my side.”Okay, you misspelled Denny Crane and also um… not that I’m saying we couldn’t, but anyone else see a way that burying us with nuclear waste would lead to us ‘weaseling’ some free health care out of…the nuclear waste?

Why does this John Galt guy sound oh-so-familiar?Didn’t he post something here before? Or have I finally lost my mind?
