Since Bob mentioned the teleprompter scandal that the AP is fearlessly exposing, I though y’all might want to see the genius of the right wing’s humor writing as they make fun of President Obama’s speaking ability – it’s a blog from Barack’s TelePrompter.

So the AP was just pushing this meme. Also, I found this on an Objectivist blog; but they aren’t at all connected to the right. The comments section includes a link to “a more serious analysis of Obama’s dependence on TelePrompters.”

    After last night’s conference, the first comment out of Stretch’s mouth was about the teleprompter. He’s such a shrill for the right.I’m a little tired of him and Todd. I need a new Sunday morning show besides MTP.

    Damn, I’ve slept through this developing narrative. This teleprompter thing has really taken hold? Really? And just thinking about Sarah Palin without a teleprompter is too delicious.

    There’s failed funny and then there’s “where’s the funny supposed to be?”. This was a perfect example of the latter.And can someone tell me what a brain people is?

    It is such nonsense. Maybe we should feel VERY fortunate that the only negative thing the Far Right can come up with is his use of teleprompters!! He must be doing a good job (and the polls reflect that) if that is his worst offense.

    It’s sad really, but it will all blow over as soon as the right finds something new to latch on to. Maybe say… Obama won’t eat sandwiches without mayo? What a loser! He can’t even eat dry bread!

    Does President Obama also have a printout of his speech? ‘Cause if he doesn’t, he can always say using the teleprompter is his way of going green, and why do all of his critics hate the earth?

    I just read neo-neocon’s entry and I could not believe what I was reading. I even went thru some of the comments. These people are nuts – to me it looks like there is a disconnect between their brains and mouths. Some of them were blabbering about USA being put under intl government in the near future as part of conspiracy (Soros was mentioned of course). WTF?!

    I don’t know, maybe he just doesn’t have time to memorize all the detailed info he wants to impart? He’s kinda busy you know ;) As a teacher I wish I had a telepromter not an outline on notecards!

    I just read the Teleprompter’s Blog. He certainly is articulate. I wonder if he is single? He has that long, tall and thin physique so many women find attractive.
