Of course in my world, we simply do away with extraneous words and convert the subject into an adjective. Thus my sentence would read, “…who has retaliated against disloyal subjects with a Creosotic fountain of acidic hell…”

Yes, right. The important thing for me was to elicit that immediate mental image of Mr. Creosote throwing up.However, after reading your comment, I swapped “fountain” for “geyser.”Thank you very hard!

Geyser is better. “Splatulence” would also suffice.

“Fat, flatulent git” is my favorite description of a politician, ever. Used to describe Hugh Laurie’s priceless Prince George in the first episode of Season 3 of the peerless BBC comedy Black Adder. That was also the episode that introduced the Party Rush Limbaugh should be shilling for, the Keep Royalty White, Rat-Catching and Safe Sewage Resident’s Party, led by Sir Horace Balsam.

“Nice Creosote drop-in, that’s the bee’s knees, brother.”I submit that it is, indeed, the wasp’s nipple!

First of all, mad props to the mention of Black Adder. Secondly, I’m drunk on Manhattans and I love Elvis, and I love Bob and all this talk of Limbaugh is funny as it relates to the overall strategy and sad as it relates to the Democrats sinking into this type of campaign. Thirdly of all, and this is the most important part, what was my point?

AUNTIE MIMA!?!? AUNTIE MIMA HYPOLLA, IS THAT YOU!?? OH, AUNTIE MIMA! WE THOUGHT WE’D LOST YOU TO THE COSSACKS!! DID UNCLE IVAN MAKE IT OUT OF ST PETERSBURG, TOO!?! OH I’M SO HAPPY, AUNTIE MIMA HYPOLLA LIIIIIVVES!!!!
Nice article, Bob. The Republicans are truly slitting their own throat by playing to the mob that supports Limbaugh. Right now, the Repubs have no balls, whatsoever. If they did, their leadership would have told Limbaugh to shut his blubbering piehole a long time ago.I did, however, disagree about the Democrats cleaning up twenty-five years of Reaganomics. It was really only twenty years. The stuff Bush did was not Reaganomics. I don’t know what it was, but Reagan was TOTALLY against growing government.I would also caution against pointing the finger at Reagan for this mess. President Obama ran against the failure of the last eight years, not the last thirty years. Sooner or later, government is going to have to close the spigot again, and see if this economy will grow by the private sector. No one in the last fifty years grew the economy like Reagan(recall that in his first years, unemployment was higher than what Obama is facing now) . Clinton copied him. No one was complaining about the state of the economy while it was experiencing good growth. Throwing darts at Reagan because all of America got stupid and borrowed way, way, way beyond its means isn’t the answer.I like to think a little dash of Reaganomics and a little dash of Liberal policies is the right way to go. Maybe even the perfect way to go. One thing is certain. We need better regulation of the banks and markets. We need stricter regulation of the mortgage industry. And so long as we do not have universal healthcare, we will teeter on the brink of disaster. Nothing can throttle our national security like healthcare costs.
