New Huffington Post Column

Getting so caught up in the comments your posts here inspire (“I wish I knew how to quit you, thread comments!”), I often lose sight of the awesomeness of the writing that brought us all here in the first place. Nail on the head again, Bob. Reading your HuffPo columns gives me the same kind of thrill going up my leg (hah) that Molly Ivins’ writing does/did.

Bob, I really really really want you to go on Morning Joe with your “alternative DOW chart” printed on posterboard. Really.

Bob, you know as well I as do that it is ever the convenient answer. It has been said over and over in recent weeks and months that the Republicans are locked into the same tired, two-decade old talking points. This is simply a recycled version of the Clinton era budget surplus being simply the result of eight years of Reagan-nomics. I have to refer back to your post about Operation Zero-cred. The fact that the conservatives are placing blame on the current state of the market, but will no doubt offer no credit when it recovers – ZERO CREDIBILITY.Though it is aggravating as hell, there is always self-justification to be found when continual hypocrisy is identified with the other guys. Thanks Bob.

(Obviously, my own writing doesn’t make a thrill go up my own leg, heh.)Whatever you call them, the comments here are seriously addictive and time-consuming, even to the most lurkingest of lurkers. I keep telling myself that I’m just going to come and read Bob’s (and Elvis’s) posts and then mosey, but my conviction never seems to hold.
