    This brouhaha reminds me of 1981, when Ronald Reagan gave his first televised address with a teleprompter. Until then, no president had used one.Ignorant people were captivated. I recall letters to the editor of the local paper extolling the virtues of a president who “memorized” his speeches.In fact, The Great Communicator was entirely dependent on his teleprompter.What we need is a video mash-up of Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II using teleprompters with flashing arrows: “LOOK! A TELEPROMPTER!”

    jeff berea is not just a douchebag, he is, in fact, a fuckwit.Commenting at HuffPo is not worth the effort. The moderators allow the wrong wing trolls to say pretty much whatever they want, while my comments containing words such as corporatism or fascism are moderated away.
