Number One on Amazon? Really?

The number one book on Amazon belongs to Mark Levin, a far-right talk radio host I’ve never heard of before. Number one. It was just released today. And from what I’ve heard, he’s really seriously awful. I mean, extraordinarily bad, bad, bad. In fact, he’s like an audio version of every wingnut troll you’ve ever read — ever. With a nasally teen prank call voice.

It smells like another Heritage Foundation book shopping spree to artificially inflate sales figures.

    I’ve had the misfortune of hearing that clown a few times. He’s impossible to listen to. There is some entertainment value with some of the other kooks, but not this guy. There’s no way he’s selling that many books.

    He is really horrible. He sounds more out of touch than any of the wingnut radio dorks. His version of things is at the bottom of the pile of that which trickles down from the likes of Rush and Beck.

    Wow, this must seriously be all that this man does. I heard him on local “news” radio and he was essentially saying the same thing to another caller. Just scream really loudly and call them an idiot. I don’t think I’ve ever actually heard him say one idea, just crazy hobo-style screaming.

    Levin is one of the more anal-retentive con-servaidiots. His vocal inflections are that of a completely oblivious crank, erudition notwithstanding.Fuck them, one and all.What the hell is it with these con-servative radio idiots? They continue to spring up like weeds all over airwaves.Hmm…they all seem to have had little odd jobs in previous Republicon administrations, too.Is it speculation on my part to assume that all these creeps were dispatched within the swine media sphere in a vast Republicon plot to confound the American intellect? There can be no other explanation.I, for one, believe that this is the end of America. I want these bastards to suffer for all their collective incompetence and selling out.I will not live amongst the vermin of the Republicon party. I want them purged.

    Mark Levin is where Shannity gets all his talking points from. And for some reason, he calls Obama “Milhouse,” which I’m guessing is a reference to Nixon, though I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought Obama had blue hair and wets the bed.

    I think the “Milhouse” reference is actually genuinely funny… he says that the Dems used to refer to Nixon by his middle name to make him sound bad, Levin’s take on the controversy surrounding the use of the President’s middle name.
    Otherwise, this guy is pure evil. He totally bastardizes the founding principles of this country. He misconstrues the ideas of the Founding Fathers by just name dropping and then spouting his insane ideas. I’m not sure how he actually made it through law school… Let me just put it this way, his book commercials are done by Limbaugh (not to mention “The Great One” finishes up the WABC lineup from 6-9 after Hannity: 12 hours of straight hate).
    I would like the media to get in front of this, it’s a veritable treasure trove of sound bites: he yelled over some innocent sounding woman today and then asked her if she was married, she said no and screamed “I WONDER WHY” then played his usual “Get off the phone ya big dope” sound effect.
