Do we have a yakking topic?I’m gonna briefly bitch about the scheduling of the radio show tonight. What’s up with making it on at the same time as ‘Lost’? I live each week for that brief shot of Sawyer frolicking on the beach. And when I say frolicking, I mean that in the most macho way possible.

Fav current album: The Avett Brothers “Emotionalism”My kid loves it, I love it, I’m hopefully going to see them open for Dave in April. Woohoo!

TOPIC!: Jethro Tull–Thick as a Brick is probably my all time favorite. Lately I’ve had mp3 cuts, not whole albums. The last run of songs I heard was by the Real MacKenzies.I wish I could stay up late enough for the radio show. It isn’t always available as a podcast (was that ever fixed?).

Screw LOST. It’s on at the same time as Rachel.

Edit: JT is my all-time favorite that I’ve listened to recently. I don’t think I’ve bought an album since sometime in the late-nineties. I’m undergoing a 2nd half-century purging of crap I spent the first half-century collecting. I’m trying to put it all in smaller forms.

Ooh… My old outing club just put out their traditional Spring Break mix cd! (And by CD I mean my old roommate put a playlist of songs to download on from the house website cos it’s the 21st century.) Exciting stuff… The Firefly theme, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Alcohol by CSS, our two required tracks (Country Roads by John Denver and the bluegrass version of Gin & Juice by the Gourds) and the best song ever created…Rock Lobster by the B-52s. Awesome.
