Randnuts

by Lee Stranahan

Another chance to peer into the other side – this time it’s not conservatives but Objectivists. My recent HuffPost piece on Ayn Rand stirred the hornet’s nest and out pops this attack on me, which I responded to in comments there.

But a quick trip through the site will provide you with hours of fun! Here’a a gem and how these folks view the world

I’ve always loved listening to Rick Santelli, of CNBC. He’s the closest thing to a capitalist I’ve ever seen on any business show on television. (snip)

He talks about the Founding Fathers turning over in their graves over what’s going on in government today, and suggests he might helm a Chicago Tea Party on Lake Michigan. What a breath of fresh air.

Rick Santelli! Swooon!

Kudos, Lee, for even attempting to engage that brand of crazy. I would not have the patience.

Rick Santelli is the closest thing to a loyalist/Tory that fled to Canada raather than revolt against the King that I’ve ever seen on any business show.There. I fixed that for you.The Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves that you are calling liberals/progressives communists.Sick Rantelli is a corporatist tool.

These dumb bastards are play-acting with all this Ayn Rand business. They have to do something to let off steam besides gripe over losing two elections, so they get their selfish bastard on. To bad we all know that they’re pretending. They know damned well some of us are much stronger than they’ll ever be, so they attempt to menace us all with their idle threats and posturing, but ultimately, it merely amuses us to hear their silly musings.I’m telling you, these assholes need to play Bioshock to catch a somewhat amplified, modern-day glimpse into where their silly asses will end up. Silly rabbits.

My roommate became interested recently in understanding WTF Michelle Malkin was talking about, so he ordered 2 of her books. I have to say, from the YouTube videos I’ve seen of her she seems to really believe what she’s saying, and she seems like a very nice person. But anytime you have to quote your own fiction writing to prove your non fiction beliefs, you’ve already failed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFy9A7WEzPA&feature=relatedHe didn’t send me the time stamp where she says it, but there’s a part where she says that she’s not a conservative, and that between conservatives and liberals, the conservatives will be the ones to destroy the country. Of course that’s heavily qualified and not exactly her point but I still found it interesting.

Also, that website is full of crazy people.
