I had this very conversation with the 19%-ers I work with today. They refuse to believe he did any of this, and “that snake Obama just grins and grins”…..aarrgghh!!!Thanks Bob for the link, I am pointing this out tomorrow.

I do remember GWB at the Radio and Televison Correspondent’s Dinner doing a skit about WMD’s in Iraq, anyone else remember this? It was a disgusting mockery of our dead and the suffering of Iraqis.

Their worst fears have been realized, Bob. The absolute unbridled crazy is bursting out of them. My fear is that they are moving quickly from entertainingly batshit crazy to frighteningly unpredictable batshit crazy.

I remember that skit. Looking around the White house for WMDs like it was a goddamn game of hide-and-seek. Everyone there just laughed and laughed. He did catch some flak for it then, though, since it was an election year. It’s a shame some people don’t remember it now.

When Elizabeth Hasselbeck is on your side, you should reevaluate. Automatically.

I don’t know how anyone can even try to make the case that George Bush did not take every single moment of his presidency with the utmost seriousness and conduct himself in a manner demonstrating the gravity of each matter that came before him.The man GAVE UP GOLF, for chrissakes.He massaged the German chick.He was constantly hunting for those WMDs, even at that press dinner…he’s probably turning over rocks and dirt and branches and stuff down in Crawford right now, STILL committed to keeping America safe.Barack Obama clearly thinks the whole thing is a joke…a game. He lacks the intellectual ability and moral steadfastness of his predecessor…He took more vacation days than any other president in history because he needed to. He needed to because he worked harder than any other president.He stayed up late at night thinking of clever nicknames for people, like Scooter and Brownie and Turd Blossom. Nicknames like Turd Blossom don’t just materialize like a flower in a hunk of shit, you know.He made sure the left hand knew what the right hand was doing (except when one or the other hand needed a little privacy), and took steps to not be fooled more than once so as to avoid blame and not be fooled again.I think I can do this gig professionally. Someone get me Sarah Palin on the phone. I bet the pay’s pretty good, and I bet I can swing a book deal out of it.

I’m sure the President had a fit of the giggles he was having to hold back every time he looked at that gnome interviewing him. He’s probably thinking to himself, “Just how many warts does this guy have on his face?” And Kroft was taking himself so seriously!!! And then reprimanding Obama for not being as serious as he was! I just hope Obama gets a chance to play basketball with these guys some day and lets the elbows fly!

THANK YOU!! And personally I felt Obama’s laughing was a very human response. Its like if you mother died on a Monday and then your aunt had a heart attack on the Tuesday and you lost your job on the Thursday and some one asked “how are you doing?”… you would freaking LAUGH because it is just so unbelievable. There is a HUGE difference between that and the smirk and shit eating grin that GWB had on all the time.
