J M Ashby -I understand your point and I mostly agree. However, public school teachers should not be having sex with students, period. It’s against the law. (College is different. The student are adults.)Giving blow jobs to 13 year olds is not the job of school teachers. That’s what high school girls are for if the Jr. High babes are noncompliant.If the teachers were male and the student female, there would be shouts for castration.In the past year we’ve had four female teachers caught doing teenage male students. One is already serving time and the others are not done trial but I expect they will also serve some time.Yes. I live in the south and fried pickles are very good, and fried snickers and fried twinkies…I would say fried snickers are the besthighly recommended for all the northernersI work with a lot of guys and they will fry everything, I am usually a very picky eater and love the things not good for you, so this was right up my alley!

I could be wrong. The republicans are in denial. They may snap out of it, but I don’t think it will be soon. They have already lost many moderates and fiscal conservatives to the Democratic Party and to Independents. The remaining conservatives will try to snap them out of it like Frum is doing. If they don’t succeed, they will ultimately have to create a new party which will reabsorb most of the folks that have already bailed out.Of course they will try to save the party. I just don’t think that they will succeed and it may take a while (like longer than 2010 or even 2012) for the party schism that I expect to occur. What I am certain is that if they continue to ignore Frum and the others like him, the republican party will become a minor regional party with no chance of winning any elections in the rust belt and mid Atlantic to new england on the right coast and the entire left coast.I think that Frum’s analysis is frightfully accurate (for the Republican Party). I don’t much care for his politics, but he is a smart fellow and deserves attention.This could be the opportunity to get rid of the two party clusterfuck that has nearly destroyed this county. IMO we desperately need a multiparty system.

Strange fried snickers/pickles (?–christ) thought. I’ve heard that there is a ridge of the same mineral deposit that runs up the Appalachian Mountains, out of Maine and across the Atlantic to the northern half of Scotland–the Highlands–which it is pretty well established was its own land mass, connected to this one, until the continents split and the fucking English smashed into them. Now I realize that the original Scots that settled my mountains here didn’t walk that ridge and bring the fried food on their backs. But in the other ways they got here–by boat, let’s say, or smuggled with garden gnomes–they brought the fried snickers with them (a dry witted, Scottish way of “snickering” at the English?). So that’s the story of fried food and short life spans in the southern US.Damned Awesome Blue in the morning.
