Sorry, Mr. Steele

But this is utter bullshit.

It didn’t work for Pee Wee either.

This is called BULLSHIT. I hope this makes it way into the OED.

“I meant to do that”. It’s what I say whenever I make an ass of myself, too. And it’s not true then, either…

This is HYSTERICAL! The “I meant to do that” excuse. Who does he think he is, Jacques Clouseau?

  • SillyRatfacedGit

He thinks he’s a cat.You know what I mean if you’ve ever lived with a cat. They do something outrageous like jump onto an ironing board which immediately tips over and the cat flies over a chair and lands on the couch and then looks at you “What?” “I meant to do that.” This works for them most of the time. When their shananagans land them in a bathtub filled with water they are not as good at pretending that they meant to do it.Michael “The Tool” Steele – That bathtub was full and you are not fooling anyone.

Just in case children born in the last decade were unaware of the term “black sellout,” there is Michael Steele, the flashiest sellout of them all.It is utterly astonishing how much of a dork Steele is. I have never seen anything like it in my lifetime. Armstrong Williams wasn’t this awful.Fuck that, yes he was, and just as much of a sellout, to boot.

Well I for one am ready to take Steele at his word. From now on, everything he does/says is deliberate. Whenever he falls flat on his face: “That wasn’t a gaffe! That was carefully-planned strategery!”

FTA on HuffPo:Steele said he “would think about” running for the White House but only if “that is where God wants me to be at that time.”"I would have to have a very long conversation with the wife and kids,” he said, “because this business is not a fun thing. Our politics today does not incite or inspire someone to make that sacrifice, because the way our politics is played out today, in all honesty, is very ugly.”I seem to recall a few metric assloads of inspiration being responsible for jamming the GOP down into the ugly contrarian no-plan backwater they now occupy. For Steele to say, “Jeez…no one is inspired to make the sacrifice these days…”Was he not watching the presidential campaign at all? What a backward, prevaricating imbecile.

Anyone that’s any good at the strategy he just described certainly doesn’t do it in such a ham-fisted way, and they sure as hell don’t reveal it in an interview. The strategy he’s describing requires patience, subtlety, the willingness to crush friend as well as foe and a loyal coterie of acolytes willing to put your agenda ahead of everything else.He fancies himself Dick Cheney when he’s really just an amateur like that Michael Steele. Oh wait…

“Did you see how I totally BLEW YOUR MIND with my secret undercover plot to make it LOOK like I was inept and less powerful in my party than a drugged out obese racist who talks to kooks on AM radio? And you thought I did, but I TOTALLY OWNED you, because I was just tricking you. Gawd, you’re so sad, you fell for it.”

  • joshd

Your mind plays tricks on you; you play tricks back! It’s like unraveling a big cable-knit sweater that someone just keeps knitting, ah-hand knitting aaaah-haaaand knitting!!

  • Lexaburn

The idiot’s got us right where he wants us, I reckon.

  • Alex

Yea I can’t believe we let this happen. He sure showed us! Whelp time to register as a Republican (as soon as I clean up all that egg off my face! Touche Mr. Steele, touche)

  • Ajabu

I seem to recall a similar response from McCain right after Barack wiped the floor with him in all three debates.McSame said, “I’ve got him right where I want him.”See how well that strategy works for them?

  • Teaflax

I bet you MEANT to misspell “shenanigans”, Git. ;)

Are we sure he is a real person and not some oddly programmed robot that crazy aliens have placed in our midst just so they can sit back and laugh hysterically at those stupid humans that are so gullible they fall for this crap? I suggest this because as I watched this piece I was fascinated by the texture of his face. I don’t know why I never noticed it before. He has absolutely no wrinkles, blemishes, creases or lines on his face. His complexion is absolutely smooth. It reminded me of one of the automatons you see at Disney World attractions.

  • Tusz

Dear God, Lulu. Now I can’t escape the mental image of all the Republican talking heads getting together to awkwardly twitch around and sing “It’s a small world after all.” It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion, but closing my eyes doesn’t help.

“”I would have to have a very long conversation with the wife and kids,” he said, “because this business is not a fun thing. Our politics today does not incite or inspire someone to make that sacrifice, because the way our politics is played out today, in all honesty, is very ugly.”It’s only the GOPer’s who are not inspired for public service. The only thing that incites them to run for office is power, not for the good of the people. When was the last time a republican’t did anything good for the poor or working class?Think about it. It won’t take long. One example, when Clinton was President, look how hard the GOPer’s made it to raise minimum wage! And what kind of raise? 25cents. The first raise (and only raise) for minimum wage since 1980!

  • James Weatherby

And you think the left wing is for the good of the people. Bull shit by the tons. That’s what the Democratic Party delivers. And idiot Obama is driving the lead wagon going straight to Hell which is a good place for him. I hope he takes the Dem congress along for the ride. We all know Polosi is the second in line since her nose is so far up his ass. Idiots in stereo.
