Super Stupid

CNN has apparently hired Dana Perino to be the newest member of their Incredibly Great Political News Team of Greatness and Excellence.

Thank goodness for Perino that CNN has very low standards in terms of, you know, common knowledge. Flashback:

Dana Perino appeared on NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” and admitted that she RECENTLY had to ask her (British) husband if the “Cuban Missile Crisis” and the “Bay of Pigs” were the same thing.

Ewww!Really “Bay of Pigs” and “Cuban Missile Crisis”?Was there an unwritten rule that everyone in the Bush Administration had to be as dumb or dumber than the President? If so, how did they measure cabinet members stupidity against the President’s? This woman was nothing more than a professional liar without any moral convictions. John Stewart interviewed her and she showed the world that she can lie straight faced about anything.

At least it wasn’t this question, “Is the Iraq War the same thing as Normandy?”

New reason to be glad I rarely watch CNN.

And how stupid do you have to be to say that on a national radio show?

the same talking heads who want to make a big deal of any journalist going to work for the obama administration in any capacity, and cite them as evidence of that famous liberal media bias, don’t make a peep about bush’s mouthpieces heading straight from the white house to the analyst’s table. apparently a reporter working at the transportation department should have people worried about secret agendas and bias, but a former press secretary whose job was defined by pushing an agenda couldn’t possibly bring that to their work on air. the mental gymnastics never cease to amaze.
